In 1967, Baidu established "Taiwan Weighing Apparatus Factory". Its founder, Mr. Fu Yide, Chairman of the board, engaged in the production of traditional mechanical weighing apparatus products in Taoyuan.
In 1978, "Ligu Industrial Co., LTD." was established and a factory was built in Zhongli Industrial Zone, Taoyuan. It specializes in manufacturing industrial scales such as floor scales and trough scales.
In 1979, the first mechanical truck scale was successfully developed and manufactured.
In 1987, the company obtained the agency rights for industrial weighing equipment from the American Toledo Company in Taiwan and began to develop weighing system products. It started to carry out industrial transformation and upgrading. The company expanded into a three-story industrial plant and added talents and equipment in electronics, motors, automatic control, and computers, enabling the processes of design, manufacturing, installation, testing, and service to be carried out in a consistent manner.
In 1994, the factory and office building in Zhongli Industrial Zone, Taiwan were purchased. To enhance production capacity and technological levels, they were integrated with the existing factory to form the modern Ligu Industrial Park.
In 1998, it was awarded the DND ISO 9002 international quality certification in the Netherlands and became one of the first enterprises in the industry to pass the quality system certification.
In 2001, it passed the quality certification of the UKAS ISO 9001 2000 version of the United Kingdom. At the end of the same year, the chairman led the company's management to visit Guangdong, Fujian, Shanghai, Suzhou and other places to investigate the investment environment.
In 2002, Kunshan Ligu Electromechanical Industry Co., Ltd. was established to serve the vast number of Taiwanese business customers in Chinese mainland.
In 2004, the factory was established in the Private Science and Technology Industrial Park of Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, focusing on the expansion and research and development of key products such as filling scales, packaging scales, weighing scales and batching systems.
In 2006, it passed the production condition review and obtained the production and manufacturing license, becoming the first qualified manufacturer of weighing system equipment in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
In 2008, we purchased land in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province to build a factory. In response to the huge market demand in China, we specialize in the production of weighing system equipment.
In 2010, we began to lay out a global distribution network. Our products were positioned as "brand-oriented, systematic and standardized", focusing on high-quality and high-value-added weighing products. We successively established distribution service points in Shanghai, northern Jiangsu, Anhui, Hebei, Zhejiang, Chongqing and other places, providing customers with high-quality products and professional quality services.
In 2012, the company was the first in the industry to obtain the certificate of a high-tech enterprise. Since then, the company has fully developed fully automatic batching, filling and packaging production lines.
In 2013, we began to produce fully automatic powder and granular material batching equipment and successively obtained multiple equipment patents. We also cooperated with Taiwan Baorui Company to introduce advanced powder and granular material conveying device technology.
In 2014, Ligu purchased land in Tainan, Taiwan, and established its southern branch, aiming to provide better products and services to customers in the south.
In 2016, "Zhongheng Precision Machinery Company" was established in Taoyuan, Taiwan, specializing in the operation of weighing system products and expanding the weighing system market both at home and abroad.
In 2017, advanced and intelligent management was adopted, and the MES manufacturing execution system was introduced. Combined with the original ERP enterprise resource planning system and CRM customer relationship management system, a business development pattern centered on customers was formed, providing overall solutions for customers.
In 2020, the Sheet metal processing division was added and Kunshan Yonggu Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. was established. To meet the growing business volume, Ligu Company comprehensively expanded its factory and presented a brand-new look to both new and old customers.
In 2022, Ligu Electromechanical celebrated its 20th anniversary by establishing Ligu Intelligent Technology (Suzhou) Co., LTD. The Ligu team will continue to forge ahead with determination and strive to become the top brand of weighing automation in China.
In 2023, Guangdong Ligu Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shandong Ligu Automation Technology Co., Ltd. were established respectively. It is planned to set up Ligu subsidiaries in major regions across the country to lay the foundation for a comprehensive service system.
In 2024, Ligu products will be further segmented under the Weighing System/Standard Weighing Instrument Division to comprehensively expand market share. The development direction will be positioned as "the leader in weighing technology", with a focus on enhancing product quality and service functions, truly embodying the brand spirit of "Ligu" and the service philosophy of "Honesty and trustworthiness".
